Actions (Image of the Day)

Actions, they say, speak louder than words, and your appearance matters much more than ever. The latter is not about being overly conscious of your clothes, rather it’s about the image you projecting.

Today, people rarely read the bible, instead they study Christians, invariably making us substitutes to the bible. This notion is wrong, but its expected in a world that’s governed by darkness, where the devil is trying very hard to lead mankind to hell.

Thus, how we behave in the best and worst circumstances life has to offer is under scrutiny by God, satan and man.10445967_913492291995553_4530450141651576452_n

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” (Matthew 5:14 & 15)

The world would definitely not agree with most of our opinions and decisions; it’s how we react that matters. Let us be slow to anger and sober in our ways, but in the spirit realm – where real warfare takes place – you are permitted to get ridiculously violent; after-all, no human court can try you on spiritual matters (at least none I’ve heard of).

Be a blessing to someone today, let kindness be found in your ways and holiness crown your efforts.

Thanks for visiting and God bless you.

  1. Enjoyed your post, however I ask that you ponder another view found in 2 Corinthians 3:1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you, or from you? 2 You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our[a] hearts, to be known and read by all. 3 And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. (English Standard Version )

    • Wow! So true that even in the days of Paul, the actions of believers were under constant examination; and I love Paul’s statement in verse 3 – “…you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God …” It’s by the Holy Spirit’s guidance that we can regard ourselves, for lack of a better word, ‘walking epistles’.

      Thanks Gail.

  2. You are correct, even more so, than you can ever imagine. The Bible is a perfect example. You are quoting from not the Original King James Version Bible, of 1611. The Devil, as soon as it was done, began work, a vigorous, nonstop, even to present date, attempt to debunk the truth, the truth about the preservation of God’s Holy Bible. God, promised to preserve his word, because of the fact that it was God breathed. Holy men of God, wtote, as they were moved by the Holy Spirit of God. Now, while, you’ve made excellent points, you’ve failed to give God the Glory, by substituting his preserved words, with revised inferior versions. If I have left any doubt in your mind, please read the book, “Things that are different, are not the same.”
